While the timepieces in the Mechanical Collection carry a 5 ATM rating, suitable for pressures comparable to a depth of 50 meters, we advise against swimming with the watch. The leather strap isn't waterproof. Although a 5 ATM rating is resistant to the occasional splashes, rain, snow, or showering, and can handle brief immersions like diving into water or snorkeling, preserving the watch's integrity and the band's condition is paramount.

I have production constraints across all my designs, with The Sedona being a prime example, its availability restricted to a mere 50 pieces.

This exclusivity encompasses the distinct amalgamation of this particular dial pattern, the gunmetal hue of the movement, and the case configuration.

While there's a possibility of reprising the same case and movement color in future creations, the dial design will undergo a transformation. In the current series, however, I maintain uniformity in dial and case designs, introducing variability solely through the use of different movement colors.

My perspective on these pieces is primarily as works of art. In my essence as an artist, my aspiration lies in continuously crafting new masterpieces, rather than repetitively manufacturing the same watch in mass quantities.

DESIGN

I am the creator of the Mechanical Collection, with my work taking me across the US, Spain, and Greece.

PRODUCTION

Due to their intricate nature, the watches are forged and assembled in China, necessitating a collaboration among three specialized factories: one dedicated to the movements, another to the straps, and a third to the crafting of cases and dials.

I selected the ST36 movement for this watch series due to my desire to showcase a more substantial movement that reflects the artistry inherent in a hand-wound watch.

Once it undergoes the processes of skeletonization, engraving, and coloring, the movement facilitates a layering of metal through dial stacking and data rings, creating a multidimensional aesthetic.
